SEVEN DAYS TOUR BUKIT LAWANG – LAKE TOBA.

After the jungle trip, we will go to Lake toba. The lake is about 100 kilometres long, 30 kilometres wide, and up to 505 metres (1,666 ft) deep. Located in the middle of the northern part of the Indonesian island of Sumatra, with a surface elevation of about 900 metres (2,953 ft), the lake stretches from 2.88°N 98.52°E to 2.35°N 99.1°E. It is the largest lake in Indonesia and also the largest volcanic lake in the world. You can relax while enjoying the beautiful lake and learn about Batak culture.
ITINERARY.
Day 1 : Pick up from Medan hotel/airport, journey four hours to Bukit-Lawang by air – conditioner car, relax remaining the day, accomodation.
Day 2 : Start trekking after brakfast around 9.00 am, small breafing before enterence the jungle, walk for about 5-6 hours to search the animals together and our expert guide will explain to you about flora and fauna. At 13.00 we stop for lunch time, we have fried rice and for the desserts we have fruits such us pineapple, watemelon, banana, orange and passion fruit.
After lunch continue the expedition watching the orang utan or other animals and towards to the campsite. When we arrive at the campsite you can go to the river for a swim and afterwards you can relax while enjoying the atmosphere with tea or coffee. After dinner you can playing card or make bunfire with the team, if we have good weather we can fishing in the river.
Day 3 : After breakfast we can walk around the campsite for 2-3 hours to explore the jungle or we can relax at the riverside to enjoy the animals, afterwards we can visit the waterfall. When we come back we have noodle soup and fruits salad jungle style for lunch. After lunch rafting back to the hotel by traditional tube rafting.
Day 4 : After breakfast journey 8 hours to Lake Toba via Siantar, cross to Samosir Island, stay in Tuk-Tuk, accommodation ( Samosir Cottage, Carolina ).
Day 5 : After breakfast explore the island visit Simanindo for Batak traditional dance performance and visit Batak Museum, afterward visit Buhit for Batak traditional Sarong maker, afterward visit King Residence in Ambarita, back to hotel.
Day 6 : Relax to enjoy the lake.
Day 7 : After breakfast journey 6 hours to Medan Hotel/airport.
