Half day orang utan expedition is designed for first introduction
into the Gunung Leuser National park for limited time
travellers,families with children and people who are not able to do long
journey but you’d love to see the orang utan and other wild life. if we
are lucky we will see animals such us orangutans, several types of
monkeys, siamang, white-handed gibbon, water monitor, sumatran peacock,
red giant flying squirrel, malayan giant squirrel.
Our expert guide will guide you to explore the jungle and explain to you about flora and fauna that you will see in the forest.
ITINERERY :
Our expert guide will pick up you in the hotel where you stay around 9.00 am after breakfast and joint with another guests not more then six people to start the expedition.
Once we arrived at the border of the jungle our guide will make some briefing about the rule how we will entrance the jungle. Afterwards we will search the animal together.
On the way before we go to the river we will take a break to have some fruits that we have brought from home and when we arrive in the river we can go to the river take a swim, while enjoy the fresh water that comes from the montain.
We will pack up and return to the hotel by traditional tube rafting and our jungle expedition will be finished around 12.30.
Cost is 45 Euro/person.
Inclusive : Licensed guide, permit into Gunung Leuser Natioal Park,meals, fruits, water and traditional tube rafting.
WHAT TO BRING.
Bring 1 large bottle of the mineral water , suitable walking shoes, mosquito reppelent, sun creams, medicines, toilet paper, swimwear and a towel
