This trip designed where you will have fantastic impression of the
dense tropical rainforest of the Gunung Leuser National Park, you will
do for two days jungle trek and combination with one day elephant
tours.
Our expert guide will explain to you about flora and fauna in the jungle. If we are lucky we will see animals such us orangutans, several types of monkeys, siamang, white-handed gibbon, water monitor, sumatran peacock, red giant flying squirrel, malayan giant squirrel. We are also provide the assistance to help you where we’ll pass the difficult and slippery roads because your safety is very important to us.
We cook for you in the campsite where you will try typical Indonesia food and breakfast by jungle style.
ITINERARY
Day 1 : Pick up from Medan hotel/airport, journey four hours to Bukit-Lawang by air – conditioner car, relax remaining the day, accomodation.
Day 2 : Start trekking after brakfast around 9.00 am, small breafing before enterence the jungle ,walk for about 5 -6 hours to search the animals together and our expert guide will explain to you about flora and fauna. At 13.00 we stop for lunch, we have fried rice and for the desserts we have fruits such us pineapple, watemelon, banana, orange and passion fruit.
After lunch continue the expedition watching the orang utan or other animals, towards to the campsite. When we arrive at the campsite you can go for a swim and afterwards you can relax while enjoying the atmosphere with tea or coffee. After dinner we can playing card or make bunfire with the team, if we have good weather we can fishing in the river.
Day 3 : After breakfast we can walk around the campsite for 2-3 hours to explore the jungle or we can relax at the riverside to enjoy the animals, after we can visit the waterfall. When we come back we have noodle soup and fruits salad jungle style for lunch. After lunch rafting back to the hotel by traditional tube rafting.
Day 4 : You will meet the guide in the hotel after breakfast around 10:00 am, drive to Tangkahan for about two hours off road by jeep. you will see the villages and beautiful scenery on the way, we can stop anywhere when you see some place to take picture. When we arrive in Tangkahan we can go straight a way to Buluh river to swim in the river and cross to the hot spring, lunch we have in the river bank and enjoy the atmosphere of the jungle, we'll have fried rice and fruits for lunch.
At 15:00 pm will go back to the car and drive about 10 minute to elephants canter, afterwards you will go to the river with the Mahut and other group to do elephants bath. You will have really fun time to wash them and play with the baby elephants. After elephants bath finish we will return to Bukit – Lawang and we will arrive in the hotel around 18.30 pm.
Day 5 : Transfer you to Medan/airport by air–conditioner car.
Cost : Euro 355/person, minimum 2 people.
Inclusive : All transport, Guide fee, three night hotel in Bukit-lawang, permit to the jungle, meals and fruits in the jungle, water, blanket, tent, traditional tube rafting and Elephant activity.
